HELLO,

a bit about me;

I am a Turkish mathematician and am currently an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University and a Green23 cohort of Project NExT.

I was born and raised in Adana, Turkey. Majored in Math at Dokuz Eylul University and also pursued my MSc. in Math at the same university. My thesis was a survey about toric varieties and their combinatorial properties.

I study the interactions between Combinatorics, Representation Theory, and Algebraic Geometry. I pursued my Ph.D. in Math at Tulane University with a focus on the enumeration problem of the Borel orbits in classical symmetric spaces. The importance of symmetric varieties in representation theory was the key motivation for my dissertation, aiming to understand the combinatorial aspects of the parametrization of Borel orbits in the symmetric variety.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my hyper dog Mia.
