a bit about me;

I am an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University, Missouri. My research interests lie in combinatorics, algebraic geometry, and representation theory.

I was born in Adana, Turkiye. After receiving my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics from Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkiye, I moved to New Orleans to pursue doctorate study at Tulane University. I received my Ph.D. in mathematics under the supervision of Dr. Mahir Bilen Can in 2018. Before joining the Math department at Saint Louis University, I was at Palm Beach State College, Florida.

I enjoy spending my spare time with my hyper dog Mia, cooking – especially trying new recipes.
